Thigh Reduction

Our consultant Mr Michael McBride FRCS (Plast) describes thigh procedures available at Fitzwilliam Clinic.

A Thigh Lift is a surgical procedure that addresses the loose and sagging folds of skin around the thigh area. Its objective is to lift and tighten the skin to produce a firmer and smoother contour. This procedure is suitable for patients who have experienced significant or rapid weight loss resulting in stretched tissue that hangs down from the thighs.

Thigh Lifts can also remove unwanted fat from the thigh area, resulting in a more sculpted and aesthetically pleasing appearance. The outcome is firmer, smoother skin.

The sagging skin in the thigh area can occur naturally due to genetics or because of weight loss (causing excess skin) or ageing, which causes the upper leg skin to become loose and flabby.
