Botox treatments are delivered by injections into target muscle groups using an extremely fine needle and are normally very well tolerated by patients in an outpatient setting. It is a minimally invasive non surgical procedure that has no requirement for incisions or formal anaesthesia. Rejuvenation is normally appreciated within a few days with full results evident by 2 weeks after your procedure and typically lasts 3-6 months after which your muscles gradually return to their normal activity. Botox can sometimes be combined with other cosmetic procedures such as dermal filler injections or surgical procedures for enhanced aesthetic results.
