About Fitzwilliam Clinic

Fitzwilliam Clinic was founded in 2004 by a group of leading Consultant Surgeons to provide patients and general practitioners with expert opinions and services on all aspects of Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Our team of consultant surgeons and anaesthetists are on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and in possession of Certificates of Completion of Training.  Those professional qualifications are GMC,www.gmc-uk.org, BAAPS, www.baaps.org.uk, BAPRAS, www.bapras.org.uk.  The clinic is registered with the EHSSB and is recognised by leading insurance companies for the treatment of privately insured patients. We are also subject to regular rigorous inspections by the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) who ensure that our standards are maintained and statutory regulations adhered to.

The Department of Health offers comprehensive advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.

People may opt for cosmetic surgery for many different reasons but everyone who makes the choice wants not only to look better but also to feel better about themselves.  At Fitzwilliam Clinic we believe that feeling better should start from the moment you make your first enquiry to explore our services. We encourage patients to research their surgeon and procedure carefully before the decision to proceed with surgery is made.

Every prospective patient benefits from informed medical advice, presented sympathetically and clearly at a confidential consultation with your surgeon. As locally based consultants we are able to provide continuity of care during and after each episode of treatment.

All consultations are directly with your surgeon.  Depending on the nature of the procedure your operation will be carried out in the Fitzwilliam Clinic under local anaesthetic and/or sedation or under general anaesthesia.

Cosmetic surgery at the clinic mirrors that carried out in the United States and Europe with emphasis on day care surgery under sedation thus allowing you to return home shortly after surgery is completed. The clinic operates an on-call facility ensuring 24 hour clinical care.
